About Me
My Name is Jessica. I’m really glad you’re here. I’ve been where you are, wanting to get some traction in life but not understanding what exactly was keeping me stuck. Finding that symptoms controlled me, rather than feeling like I was in control. Or just needing support with a pivotal time in life without feeling judged while also needing some feedback. Having flashbacks of a traumatic time in life and wanting freedom for your mind and body? I’ve been there, too.
I provide trauma-informed, attachment-based counseling for people ready to understand how they got to where they are and discover how to move toward where they want to be. Many of the struggles we experience today have roots in what we have lived through, the relationships that shaped us, and the ways we learned to protect ourselves along the way. When we begin to understand that wiring and wounding, we can create space for something different. I can help you move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin addressing what is underneath them.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, understood, and fully yourself. My approach incorporates experiential and evidence-informed modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and IFS to help clients explore patterns at a deeper level and create meaningful change. As a Christian counselor, I’m also happy to integrate faith into your therapy when that’s important to you, while welcoming people of all belief systems. I also specialize in religious trauma and high-control church environments, helping clients rebuild or redefine their relationship with faith.
